Gary, I do wonder about the workings of your brain sometimes!
I'll go with baby J as well for today's choc.
Its past 11.12 and I'm still here - so all that shopping wasn't in vain! Hurrah!
Had a very lovely evening, my v. good friend gave me a planter with spring flowers & bulbs and decorated with a snowman. She knows me well! I nearly gave her a planter as well - am glad I didn't now but she wouldn't have minded.
Went for my check at the University today for the research project - and was weighed and measured as well. I've put on 1lb!! And haven't even started on the Christmas goodies yet!! Oops!
Still no effing Internet. I'm limping along on my phone using my neighbours WIFI. Not a happy bunny.
Jean, loved the Orea pic!
Off again now. Jess is poorly! Again! Was hoping to get some last minute gifts for her birthday tomorrow, while she was an nursery, but it looks as if she won't be going. That's buggered things up a bit!
Afternoon forkers, all my shopping done now, The fridge is chocca (not choccie Geoff) and there isn't a spare space in the kitchen. Mind you OH has been clearing up ready for family arriving tomorrow, so once I have rearranged we will be able move. I thought it was women who are bad at spatial awareness? Not when it comes to cupboards fridges and boot space!
Becks, we get withdrawal symptoms when you aren't around!
Have had a Christmas celebration with swimming group - not in the pool - and we all painted/drew pictures. Then went to butchers so now have an over-flowing fridge.
New Blind doesn't seem to work as was up half the night with dog again, He doesn't seem that happy today, but nose is normal. I was wondering if he was in discomfort or worse pain but how can you tell???
All ready and excited for little family coming tomorrow, preesies are wrapped, Dolls still not finished
I know, I know, and I'm still here! But then if things go according to plan we could be moving to sunnier climes in a year or so, so is it worth the hassle of a new job? (Me making excuses there!)
Any excuse for a new wardrobe! Although I'd like to be buying one in a smaller size not a larger one!
Becks, poor you. Hope the germs go away fast!
I'm hoping to get out of here early today...you never know, maybe the Christmas spirit will come and hit the boss over the head!!
I must admit, having finished the cleaning, thought about going outside, but since will lose all track of time & it's not that urgent I wont.
Did a quick, very, flower count earlier- Penstemon Alice Hindley, Erysimum, Vibernum Bodnantse. Nowt else. I do need to remove part of a holly branch which is smothering a Mahonia- buds, no flowers. So the branch can be part of the decs! Now where's the glitter & glue? J.
