Yes,tinkling fairy, the bells do tinkle--they are glass. I just got them in a thrift store for practically nothing--they were hopelessly tangled, so I imagine the donor had just given up. It took me literally hours to untangle--but I am thrilled with the result. I had no idea they would look like this--each bell has an opalescent sheen on it!

    Morning forkers,

    wee freakings wrote (see)

It is raining-boo.... About to get wet

    You're not joking.

Fed the birds and was amazed at the squelcherama underfoot. The puddles in my garden are some of the biggest I've seen. And more rain is forecast today, for the entire day. Tomorrow is the Apocalyptic 21st, maybe I should look up some ark-building instructions.

Interesting item in yesterday's Mail. Alan Titchmarsh and GW are being accused of making viewers think that growing vegetables is easy. This is causing large numbers of people to apply for allotments, many of which are subsequently abandoned. "Shows such as Love Your Garden and Gardeners' World have led to many people taking on allotments without realising the hard work needed to grow vegetables."

Good morning festive forkers. image It's wet and wild out there today .

Love everyone's trees and decks. Pleased to report I have finished the snowflakes in the conservatory. They are an other of my ocds - all have to match and be symetrical but am very pleased with them. image

Gary - love your sculpture and the up-cycled vhs tape but she looks a bit chilly to me .image

I think we can safely say we will all be here on Dec 22nd. I hope so - took me ages to decorate that flaming tree.

That post went before I'd finished. I meant to add this.
