Repotted basil yesterday--amazing how many seedlings are in an 8" pot!
Chicken pie and bought veg for supper. We'd starve if relying on produce - one mangetout and two pea-sized radishes each. Haven't tried the perpetual spinach yet, might pull a few leaves.

New guinea-I haven't seen any ordinary anywhere this year so the message did get carried through-though Jersey plants are still offering them.

they were quite expensive though.
I had a flowering currant (ribes sanguineum?) that did not come back one winter, no sign of disease or any problem.
Have just taken the photo and will upload later
It has been there for 6 years but lost one exactly the same before-everything around it is healthy -so flummoxed

Its warm here too Inka, kind of sticky and humid though, and cloudy. Makes a change from it blowing a gale!
