I have roasted a chicken and I will serve it with Jackets and salad.

It is your duty to go and be nosey, I did the Daisy place.

Are these New guinea or old school.

New guinea-I haven't seen any ordinary anywhere this year so the message did get carried through-though Jersey plants are still offering them.

My flowering currant is dying and I don't know why-going to take a pic and see if anybody can diagnose

I saw some old school last weekimage they were quite expensive though.

I had a flowering currant (ribes sanguineum?) that did not come back one winter, no sign of disease or any problem.

Have just taken the photo and will upload later

It has been there for 6 years but lost one exactly the same before-everything around it is healthy -so flummoxed

Sunny and warm here---but rain tomorrow. Retirement lunch for a dear friend on Friday--but it will have to be inside, alas. Looking forward to crab cakes!

Repotted basil yesterday--amazing how many seedlings are in an 8" pot!

Its warm here too Inka, kind of sticky and humid though, and cloudy. Makes a change from it blowing a gale!

I don't think Geoff played fair, he should have stuck to the designated uniform!

I cant find my tv appearance now -it is there somewhere when I have got five minutes..........image

That rude B&B programm on againimage-someone just won a 1p on Deal when they could have had £50,000 or £60,000-how gutting is that?

Chicken pie and bought veg for supper. We'd starve if relying on produce - one mangetout and two pea-sized radishes each. Haven't tried the perpetual spinach yet, might pull a few leaves.

15-all on TV appearances then Geoff?
Did you wear a hat? I saw blokes in hats and thought of you (probably wrongly!)
