I had trouble when I came on at first too, seems ok now.
Pause in the sort out proceedings to eat an apple & have a drink. Have also watered the houseplants, porch to do next. 1 penstemon cutting to dump, hope the parent survives. I'd already cut it back, to try & improve its' straggly tendency, before I went looking for cutting material & only had 1 bit I could use.
Well done Lottie! Am all for research etc. I did agree to one trial initially, but declined another as just wasnt convinced by it- too small an initial sample IMO, & daughter's who was with me that day. Yes, selfish, but it's my body, future health we were discussing!
Hi Geoff, not just a cold, but a very sore and gunky throat too and the shivery aches sitting on sofa, sucking Strepsils, drinking OJ and swallowing parrotseatemall I'll try not to breathe in your direction
Who was it saw some poo outside? Was it Jo? It's not too late for hedgehogs yet, ours are still out every evening - we sat and watched them Saturday night on the terrace for about 20 mins, eating the hedgehog food and banana chips, before ambling off to the veg patch to carry out their side of the deal .
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
T'was me re the poo! I did wonder if hog still around, but we've had a couple of frosty nights so I just assumed it'd be tucked up already.
Keep being good to yourself BTW, sounds nasty. 1 of those bugs that'll take 7 days to go if you do nothing & a week if you regularly take all the remedies going.
Andy's on BBC2 - First round of ATP World Finals in London,
Lost the first set
I had a peek at EBay. There's a lot of Savile stufff on there, most items only about £10.
Several nifty Savile fancy dress outfits - just a silly wigg, specs, and cigar. Might be a popular theme for wearing to Christmas parties, though possibly in dubious taste.
Lottie, at least you will get a good brekkie as a reward.
Becks, lovely photo of Jess
I've just been sorting my houseplants out as well Jo
Dove, hope you are feeling better soon. I am STILL coughing over that nasty bout I had but I am an old fossil Try the liquid all in one - it worked for me.
Haven't had tele on at all today, Georg. Just needed some peace after this mornings events.
Geoff, I wonder what sort of person would be interested in your book ?
Jean I don't get it either-but there is a market for odd things-perhaps people will read it to see if they can read between the lines?-I have never read it
Thankyou re pearl barley The instuctions on the pkt said to wash it thoroughly and add to stock with vegetables for a nice thick broth - so that is what I have done and added some very small cubes of beef as well - let you know later how it tasted
