My friend decided to be child free. She is very happy and I think i many ways is closer to her OH. It's good, I don't feel sorry for her, it is her choice and it suits her. What's more she's seen a lotmore of the world (sigh)
Any way just put up a new bird feeder, ended up with more nigra seeds on patio than in feeder. See what the birds think about it later.
Planted wallflowers.
Then with my trusty but ancient Gardeners World trug loaded with bulbs planted, tulips, alliums and native Daffs. Still more to do, including a giant spider thing - eremurus. I think not all native daffs will grow but will give it a try.
I guess Titchmarsh will have to go on his winter holidays to the garage if this cold weather keeps up!
I don't mind a bit of Jess talk, Becks. As mother of 3 who are now (just) all in their 20's I can feel for you! And its nice to remember how they were when they were small. What annoys me most are those people (like a friend of mine) who boast about their children's achievements as if its some kind of competition, and those whose children can do no wrong! Mine are not angels, never were!
At the moment OH and son. no 2 are watching Dr Doolittle!! I've got shopping to put away and dinner to prepare. Then am babysitting for someone else's little angels this evening!
I agree with Lottie, it reminds me of my 3 as well. and the strange conversations we used to have, all going off at a tangent at the same time. perhaps thats why i enjoy Forkers.
I am hoping that after all the bad reports of composts this year that steps have been taken to improve the situation for next year -probably a vain hope.
I am pleased about the animals achievements- who is interested because a chicken lays an egg? -but it is important to me and sometimes you have to share
Right, looks as if Mr WereBear isn't planning to get home in time to cook so I'd better start attacking the butternut squash. Can't give it to Esmetheparrot to prepare, she'd create another lantern ;- )

Okey doke. And basically, if I didn't post about madam, I wouldn't have much to post, as she is all I have!

I must admit, I love everyones posts as well, due to the random topic jumps!
