I have a sad mouse story-one was spotted the other day -ran into the chicken pen and got killed- chicken tried to eat it but we got it out of its mouth
There are slug pellets round the beans but it was cut off an inch from the ground-have just found a snail in broad daylight up one of the runner bean canes-it went on a flying holiday
I may be drawn to telly football tonight- the alternatives are not tempting-come on the Romans
Already done a 'dance' this morning! We now have 3 little piles of crumbled crust in various places. Kate- no worries about vermin, what the slugs dont get the squirrels & pigeons finish off!
The washing was out, now back in as it did start to rain again & now the sun is trying....
OH has raided the fridge for all sorts of leftovers & some version of spanish omlette will be arriving shortly. J.
Jo, I've long been convinced that snails can abseil. They used to shimmy up a pot of something they didn't really care for and descend somehow on to the hostas thus bypassing all my barriers.
I've just put some washing on - far more interesting viewing than footie IMO.

The bacon all went on solstice morning along with the druid rolls-you missed out.
Roy thinks it will be a 50/50game and in the group stages you need a draw or a result-who makes these phrases up?
I have lost a bean overnight -I suspect a mouse
Henge party was indeed rained off - these fair-weather pagans, I don't know! Bacon never goes to waste. BLT is my favourite sarnie.
Are they still partying on the IOW, I have this image of them dancing without moving their feet.
Flo it is funny how bacon can rescue so many dishes.
Geoff do you have a bean loving mouse? Will you be watching tonight?
IOW dancing clearly the opposite of Irish dancing, then :- )

I like the bingo cards-what about a good time to score -1 minute before half time-or a bad time to concede a goal-1 minute before half time?
Am already warming up
