I was watching news earlier-I know I am going into therapy for this-and the chap from Westminster was bathed in sunshine-prompting me to think Kate will be insufferable.
Something strange has been sighted in the sky over Woking - a large glowing orb. Should we be afraid?
Will be sardines if everyone has to cram into the house due to the atrocious weather forecast for Sunday! I'm hoping some brave souls will stay in the tent.
Smallswan, I'd like a cornish pixie rather than a pasty please.
Inkadog, those caterpillars sound horrendous. I thought the slugs were bad enough.
I don't know what my broody hens are doing - but they did both get off the nest boxes to get some food when I let them out this morning. They are probably back in the hen house by now, but I am removing all the eggs.
The goldfinch is sitting resolutely on her nest, so I am presuming there are eggs there.
Actually I went to Homebase first they had loads of reduced plants some of the tomatoes were about a foot high all leggy for 50p -not really worth much-the trouble is they have bought these plants in and the weather has put a damper on it-I have now got 22/24 mimulus plants -not sure they are all going to make -they are on life support and the next 48 hours will be crucial
It was glorious, sunny and quiet, a miracle. My borders are like a jungle, a honeysuckle was trying to strangle lots of plants. clover was trying to take hold but I was excited to find a hibiscus that I thought I had lost.

It is a star-ship come to whisk you off to a distant galaxy where they live on chocolate bars.
I do not have sun
Yesterday Lottie the broody chicken came down on her own for a while -today she is in a separate pen in the garden

Sounds like my kind of galaxy - or milky way!
I have been to B&Q again-this time 24 rather tatty mimulus plants for 90p should be able to save 75%-I feel I am doing a good think by saving souls
Last time I went to B&Q the salesman got quite narked at me when i asked him if he had any cucumber plants that weren't dead.
