Kate yes you can plant peas now - they should still have enough time to produce a crop. As Geoff says, give it a go. I noticed one of my mangetout pea plants has a beautiful flower on it - pink and purple. Don't think it could have got muddled up with the sweet peas!
Happy birthday to Cody - I think he'd just like a large bone and some chews as treats! And happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Geoff - no doubt the champagne is on ice and the restaurant table is booked!
Ironing sheets?!!! Daft I may be, but noway. Good tug/pull straight around here.
Am waiting for a few mins for suncream to settle. Spent a busy morning cutting back loads & completely filling the wheely bin. I do not put aquilegias, tellima, mysotis nor A. mollis into my compost! Well not any more- that's why have sooo many unwanted plants all over the place.
Happy birthday to Cody & well done G & Mrs G. (just worked out we're coming up to 36yrs next month)
Dont need another dress, 1 enough- just not something I usually wear.
All being well this little notebook will behave today- think/hope it was something to do with updates going on, even though no notification of that happening.
Ok, off outside to flop with a book- Dan Pearson's The Garden- anybody remeber that? J.
Jo I have been having nightmares with updates, the computer suddenly stops working and then I notice a small icon appears in the bottom line and when I click on it, it says updates.
I have sown some peas, another experiment. If they do not provide a crop, I know someone with a successful allotment
I thought midsomer was on Sunday?
I have put up my cane wigwams, just need some climbers.

-does ginger beer in the fridge and steak and chips at home count as a celebration?
Have been to B&Q again-this time 16 petunia plants rescued for 44p-I must stop going
So what are the plans for the midsummer party? Do I need to iron a sheet?
Steak and chips sounds perfect - washed down with lashings of ginger beer!
You iron sheets??-you are a domestic goddess-Jo will be so proud
B****r I forgot to wash in the dew this morning. Now i will have to wait another year to be young and beautiful again.

Today is the longest day or the shortest night depends on how you look at it-there will be druid sandwiches at Stonehenge later.
Chris Bonnington springs to mind -or Edmund Hilary
