I hadnt planned to venture outside again today, but there are 2 parcels apparently at neighbours', so may have to get wet again later.image She could bring them round of course..........

The kitchen drain is now running freely again! Yay. Thought it was a bit slow when we got back from holiday & realised just how bad on Friday night! Anyway got some foaming stuff from supermarket near OH's little house at w/end & have used it as directed- brill. Have made a memo to self to use one every so often, just as do in bathroom, with daughter's hair.

Havent yet totally unpacked & the washing pile is huge- how come? J.

The pain stopped for 2 mins so I rushed outside to tie up some plants.

Geoff sorry, I do all my paper reading onlineimage

    Jean are you sharing?

    Jo will the parcels wait?

  • Jean GenieJean Genie Posts: 1,724

I would wait for your neighbour Jo, unless the parcels are important - glad your drain is now sorted out.

Ironing is one of the great mysteries of life as is missing socks and teaspoons. image

I'm sitting here with a pile of astrantia seed heeds trying to decide what is what. Another mystery. image

Suspect the parcels are my bulbs as had an e-mail saying dispatched last Thursday! Then daughter also has been shopping on-line again......... Either way neighbour not in at the mo so will wait & see. My car on drive, so she may realise we're back.

At least the house is feeling warmer now.

    Off to continue unpacking. J.

  • Jean GenieJean Genie Posts: 1,724

Is anyone there ? These astrantia seeds - I seem to have long ones and tiny little ones . Does anyone know what is what or shall I just bung them all in the packet ? I seem to have a lot from just 4 seedheeds.

    Afternoon all.

Bin cleaned, patio cleared, kitchen barricaded up, had a kip with Jess, and she has perked up, but not been to nursery. Sun is trying to come out. image

Big lesson learnt about bin hygeine and holiday procedures. (Jean, she did offer to put bin out, but I said it would be ok, as only one bag in there. Big mistake, entirely my own fault.image)

Chicken breasts for dinner, but definately NOT with rice. image
