Hello Chris ~ ~ (waves) I like the word 'plebs' too. Plebeians sounds positively posh.

Oh, I left a W out of WOCAWOPT. Blood sugar getting low, I expect. Time for lunch.

If we are starting a club , may I suggest a boating club ? I 've got to go out image.

There is a pond in my garden and Noah has just popped in for tea and cake.

Now, what have I done with my snorkel image

  • Sorry - In my previous post I said the article was in the Dail Mirror, I meant to write Daily Mail, don't want anyone scouring the Mirror for an invisible articleimage

    I too must need lunch.

Chris I must try to remember those witticisms.

Jean I also need a boat, I can see a few plants that have collapsed but it is too wet to go out and rescue them.

Flo I have never owned power tools but I do not think I would have to put up a fight to borrow OH's.

The wet appears to have gone for the moment and there is a round yellow thing out there. However it is now really windy - which I hate. Must take dogs out, though, just trying to think of somewhere that won't be too muddy.

Another ISIHAC witticism that I like:
Towel rail - what a Yorkshire person keeps his / her owls on. Apols, you Yorks. folk :- )

Am back from w/end in Peak Distric. Drive back ok, bit wet, bit misty but no problems until got to M60! Rain ++, visibility very bad & STILL people driving at top speed with no lights on!!

Noway am I going to go down to water in greenhouse today! The car is staying on the drive tonight- I want to use it tomorrow morning anyway- just cant face going out there to get soaked again! The post is drying out on a radiator- house was cold.

    Will catch up later. J.
