Was given a late Friday reprieve n allowed home for the weekend as we are so far ahead of schedule. (Travelling back up tomorrow afternoon)
Spent an hour catching up, or trying to!
So! We have funny looking insects, Plum Puddings, Goldfish, an abundance of chocolate and Dog's with beards! (Beautiful dog Flo!) You are a strange lot!!!!!
Allotment tendered! and am gunna have a quality few hours with all my Girls n Boy's n treat em to a meal n a few drinks this afternoon!
Enjoy ya day Guy's n Gal's! Whatever you decide to do!
Glyn I saw a lovely plant in my mums garden in July and she says that it self seeds so I am hoping to collect those at some point, it is great to get free plants. My foxgloves have been very disappoining this year, next year my be the last time I give them a go.
pottiepam that arrangement of baskets and plants looks lovely. I am still hoping to save my plug begonias over winter.
Good work, Dean, getting ahead of yourselves and earning a weekend off. I've earned myself a lunch-break from the village 'Fun Day' event. Thank you for the compliment about Pepper dog. He is entering a little dog show at the Fun Day (no, not a show for little dogs...). I'm putting him in the 'naughtiest dog' category. Curious to see how it will be judged.
Flo I now have an image of a huge pile of slippers and 10 dogs trying to cause the most damage, do you want him to win? It might be worth trying to video it
Pam, I'm always collecting seeds and then forget to do anything with them. Just taken some cuttings of a rose from the car park near work. I think there used to be an old mill there and they left a little border all the way around it. It had small highly scented roses and lovely dark hips, not sure what it is.Crossing y fingers that they will take. There are even apple trees in there.
Rain clearing now, so hope I can get out in the garden, although I'm feeling lazy. Just had a sausage sandwich, probably need a snooze. Don't tell Frank I was talking about the weather again!
Uurgh, Sunday Lunch now consumed and I am very full! Best meal of the week!
PP, my words were a bit more colourful than that I'm afraid. They may have involved Long Hand, Short Hand and Multi-Coloured English! If I recall correctly, one word started with F!
I need a reminder of everyones real names, as I have forgot them all. Many apologies. I know we have a Chris, and a Glyn, and a Jenny, but I don't know who is who. So sorry.
