I was a bit of a party girl back then but it was all harmless fun ! Went to a fair amount of concerts - always loved music. Everything from classical to rock  The last one was a Simple Minds concert about 3 years ago - think it will prob be my last - the excitement nearly killed me !  I'm afraid to say I was a bit of a practical joker back then as well - I was a bit naughty. This illness I have doesn't help - it causes depression and think it 's caused this confidence thing but this site has really helped . Feel quite brave at times - except when I called Geoff a plonker. I was worrying about that for days but think he took it in good faith !

Oh, that was classic Jean. Really made me giggle. And he did call you a plonkeress back, so all good fun! image

From the cover of this week's Radio Times...'Taller, creamier, yummier'..

Goodness knows how many punnets of strawberries that took.

I would die happy !! Just picked a Daily Mail up - there is an offer for 100 free spring bulbs in it.

There's a program about cake making on TV tonight, BBC2 8pm, and that photo is the teaser. I don't think they'll actually be going as far as that.

Making cake is not my thing. But wouldn't mind consuming a slice, or two.

Don't know whether strawberries and cream are actually improved by the cake layers or are better consumed neat. Eating a kilo of strawberries and cream neat might be heavy on the stomach; the cake might help to make them more digestable.

For the benefit of those suffering from Lympics withdrawal symptoms, the BBC are releasing a DVD with 9 hours of highlights:

It's also available for pre-order from Amazon, at a reduced price.

Kate - glad the vinegar worked image Simple Minds are still at it there is another coming up next year. The concert I went to was at the Liverpool Arena - Summer Pops Festival in 2009 and Jim Kerr's still a bit of alright !

So you win millions on the lottery and have doubts whether you should give up workimage

Jean-never worry-this all good backwards and forwards stuff (I cried for hoursimageimageimage)-be wary of newspaper offers in my experienceimage

Did anyone ever go to those theatre tours when loads of artistes would appear and play a couple of songs each whilst girls screamed.
