    Kate,you're right about leftovers. B & Sq is fab, and with cold meat, or hot sausages, is a good reason to break out the home-made chutney.

    I think I can help with wingers - Esme the parrot is on standby and I still have two chickens in my flock.

    Had homemade cheese rissoles plus salad, not homegrown, & baked potatoes followed by strawberries, not mine either- zilch crop this year apart from the alpines.

    Am about to start the ironing- need to keep up my skills if your kit needs to look good. Havent got much to do, but will no doubt get distracted by the swimming finals. J.

    I have just been to tescos and I have bought some half priced strawberries, if I put them in jelly, will it stop them going mouldy?

    That is one for the boffins but if you keep them out of the air then the mould spores can't reach them?

    Kate, I suppose if the air isn't getting at the strawbs it might help.

    Hmmm, I think chickens would peck a hole in the ball.
