Geoff, the message arrived in my email inbox saying 'We have had an idea. Morning Sasha I know you don't post that often ....'

    What does this mean?

    Hoorayimage

went out this afternoon and bought a builders bag of top soil, really good deal so my raised bed will be filled next week, delivered on Tuesday - sure to rain- so my wellies and pink wheelbarrow will be busy for a couple of days.

Don't reckon I will do it in one go - 2 attempts otherwise will screw up shoulder and foot again

Also have 100 bricks coming in an attempt to get enthusiastic about the unfinished fairy dell

  • Well done, Rosa! image Are you going to build the wall yourself! If so, I'm impressed!

I want to do my back garden edging in bricks, just laid flat, side by side. Was just nosing at the cost? image

Something like this. But round the lawn edges.

  • Bricks are between about 50p and a pound each in my area, Becks.

That's not too bad. Is that new? I presume it is. I don't want tatty ones. image

Will do a bit of local googling and ebay searching later. image
