Weather report: 62 mm of rain since Wednesday night. School fete cancelled, two weddings severely disrupted and my roof's leaking. Apart from that everything's just fine and dandy ...
Paining here too, at least I am not try to camp on the IOW, I do feel for anyone who has planned something this weekend, you would hope to be safe now.
Motorway network total gridlock round here- nurse stuck barely 2-3 miles away & not moved for ages! No sight nor sound of OH & daughter was late for work this morning too!
Need to book tickets for Tatton show, but wont start till I know that wont be interupted, plus better check in case OH wants to come as well this year.........J.
Something better has been promised for next week-I cannot finalise my day out until I know it is going to be dry day-just in case Cliff is around and wants me to join in.
Being towed on to the site sounds bad enough-but how are they going to get them off again when everybody will want to leave at once?
Geoff - apparently they have an emergency plan to get them off, it involves tractors, now I know very little but how many tractors will they need ? how many tractors are there on the IOW?
It is a very expensive stretch of water and my speedboat is in dry dock or of course I would be there like a shot-might go up the ladder later so I can do a live report from the scene
Did anyone see the the field at Glastonbury? it is all green grass and it is about now that the festival takes place- good job that was not on this year
I saw that Geoff and it is not far from me but I have triple checked and it is not us I was thinking that you could hire out Cody to help guide people back to their tents.
Was Glastonbury really cancelled because of the portaloos?
I am going out on an adventure I will report back later.

There are 6 wonders of the IOW but I don't know how many tractors.
