Don't know where that extra ''HELP''came from.
Jean, presumably OH has tried the classic solution - switch the router off, wait a bit then switch it on again. It has worked for me recently.
Beats me jean...
scary cat
better to ignore geoff sometimes
like the turn off ..turn on approach Flo
Jean as a guess the router on the lap top has gone-you can get a device to plug into a usb port that does the same job-will have a delve
If OH's PC is using the same router, and his connection is OK, then it's unlikely to be the router.
How is OH's PC connected - wirelessly or using a cable.
You ought to have a yellow ethernet cable which can connect any comouter to the hub directly. That's usually very reliable.
Sorry Flo/Sue H, there are so many of you, I forget who is who!
It's probably just not a people cat, but I bet you love it all the same! Has it only got one eye?
Has anyone seen Bob the Cat? Lovely story

There is this that may solve it Jean-but in the first instance contact BT- if it is BT?

It's OK with me, Sue, I just didn't want to steal Sue H's party
Actually it is a nuisance and would rather not have it (cat) there is very little endearing about her, but she was M's, who is still with us so sort of obliged
Yes, only one eye, before M had her, mother was feral.
