    Morning all

    Been Swimming

Have just taken pain killers - not often i have to resort to them as I have this thing about not becoming too dependent on them but today - oh boy do I need themimage

Cross between digging the bed in the front and swimmingimage

In local paper is a catalogue from large GC - webbs of Wychbold - if you travel on M5 are big signs for it. Can get really good deals there though. Lovely cold frame, larger than usual with wood sides - just what I want - Now to persuade OH to take me - oh and raid the piggy bank to buy itimageimage

Off to Costco now, can I get anyone anything?  I need a break from all my toils this morning, but I got a lot done without students interrupting me all the time. Might get some lunch while we are out.

    Laters .....

    Hello everyone,

Had an hour or so constructing my raised bed from sleepers. quite pleased with the result. I found some old brackets in the garage and screwed then together with them. Goggled raised beds and one similar to mine was over £300 so pleased to make mine for nothing. Will post a photo when rain stops. Still got to fill it up with horse poo and chicken poo with a layer of  MPC on top.

The RHS is giving away 10,000 packets of wild flower seeds to the first applicants so log on to their site to apply.

  • Back from hairdressers, feels better, need to be smartened up ready for London trip next Tuesday. We are having 2 night there as we are going to the theatre to see Les Mis on Wednesday. Getting quite excited, haven't been to London for a while..

What's been occuring while I've been away, I see preparations are in hand for Sue's leaving due, I like a little nibble now and again, and a small glass of wine or threeimage

Not much gardening going to be done here today, it's started to rain and it's cold.

All these aches and pains, hope you all feel better soon.
