I bought the tree lillies so the flowers, and essentially the pollen is out of reach. My cats are pretty good with chewing on stuff, they stick to the grass. The problem with normal lillies, like the carpeting sort is the flowers are very low down and if a cat brushes past the anthers they get the pollen on their fur. When they clean themselves they ingest the pollen which leads to an agnosing death as their kidneys shut down image

After that lovely thought, managed to get some pics off my phone so you can see what I'm up to.

This is where I'm hoping to level off and put more raised beds, the giant one is going, to be replaced by 6 about half that size like these I made last year

The area used to be lawn, I've stripped it off once but was so wet last year couldn't get rid of it!! Wish I'd used cardboard over it now :/ I've managed a third of it so far, hoping to get it all level and building beds in next few days.

Just cooked bacon only to find someone has eaten all bread. Just put one of those part baked baguettes in. Might cheat with lupins and buy some dormant packets. Is that right 'dormant packets' image
