    Morning forkers,

Cool and misty here at the moment, but we're promised a soooper day. Yesterday I rearranged some staging in the greenhouse and potted up some new lily bulbs that came through the post....

Today I'm hoping to move a few paving slabs aound to make a new pathway, and maybe move a couple of bamboos.

Morning Forkers, was unable to get back to the forum yesterday, but did manage a good 5 hrs digging! Boy do I feel it today!!! I did manage to take some pictures beforehand and I shall take some more today. It's forcast dry for next few days, I think is the longest we've not had rain or snow for about a year. The soil is finally dry enough to dig and be sieved, so the body ache will have to take a backseat while I crack on. The only downside is I have the 4 year old and 21 month year old all day today and tomorrow, I forsee lots of shouting ahead!

All I did today was watch the rain and knit the back of my sweater[jumper?]

Even the dogs didn't want to go out.

I was waiting for someone to mention the round tuit---I had to wait til retirement to get one.

    Night, all.

Lilies are some Stargazer (it's a late variety, very popular, and you can get that one from GCs) also an unusual one called Torch which is a new tree lily.

Torch are different , stunning I bet . I have stargazer image
  • Morning everyone.

Just making my list of seeds and fertilizer required, then off to JTF, see what bargains they have got, then GC. Expect it will be an expensive tripimage Got to make the most of the dry weather, sun trying to come out to play.image

Bought 2 clematis from Morrisons yesterday, still small, but they will grow, hopefully. £2 each, so pleased with that, only thing is I was swapping and changing them about and ended with 2 the same when I got home.DOH

I like the sound of the tree lily, quite a lot for sale in the catalogues, be interest to hear how they perform. Stargazer are a bit too fragrant for me, but very pretty. Must get my pots of lilies sorted.

    Have a good day folks.
