I think my blueberries are slow because I moved the pots to a less sunny spot - which would probably be fine if it was a decent summer. As long as I eat them and some thief doesn't get them I can wait a bit longer. The PYO at Trehanes (blueberry specialist) has only started this week.
Haven't been to pick you own for years-there used to be a blueberry one at Churt and there is one on the way into Christchurch at Hinton-if it is still there -it was really popular at one time not so much now -why is that?
I have managed 2 hours in the garden it is chilly and grey but dry. Another 2 wallflowers from the cuttings success have given up the ghost, the area is normally dry in the summer, so I hope that is water logging that has done them.
I would love to go to a PYO for blueberries.
Geoff back in the middle ages did you go out scruffy?

Just had an occasional shower-have had the strimmer out-my work is done.
I did find it hard to get a good crease in my doublet and hose in the olden days
I cannot believe it, the sun has now come out.
What did Mrs Geoff cook in the middle ages?
Turnips- washed down with lashings of mead.
Can you guess what is being prepared for later?
I like the sound of the mead but not the turnips so much - although I can sucessfully grow turnips!
I am guessing lasagne with salad (well that's what I'd like anyway!)
Lottie-no star-already had that this week-but you are close-ish
Spag Bol?
No star-on the right track-Jenny would know
