You may or may not get a thundery shower tomorrow -hit and miss is what they say -so it is a bit vague-sorry-have you a garden fete planned?-will there be toffee apples?

I was half way through planting up a container when it started to rain, so I need half an hour to finish it off. There are no toffee apples, I cannot afford a trip to the dentist.

You need a greenhouse to work in-if only those numbers would come up- they are going to make 100 millionaires next Friday on the National Lotteryimage

I have 17 flower buds on my white agapanthus-is this a record?

    Back again!

Daughter has already crashed out & OH back at the little house.

Ok plants-1. a Rudbekia, not the one on my list, but another smallish one,

    2. a small hardy geranium- from Trillium's nursery,

    3. another white agapanthus, again not too tall, for a nice spare glazed pot,

    4. a replacement hardy fuschia- Hawkeshead. I lost my previous one. The big pots I use for some fuschias I never lag over winter & of course daft me didnt take any cuttings of i!

    5. a Heucherella, slightly trailing variety. Dont suceed wth Tiarellas, but do with heucheras, so why not?

Think I know where they will all go.....

Am shattered now, so will definitely sign off & shut down things. J.

Jo they sound lovely, I have been watching it on the TV it seems much more colourful than Chelsea. I now want more lilies.

Decided it was time to pick gooseberries - they're all gone despite my netting cage which has been on there since they were flowers image    Blueberries are still mostly green but I bet the little wotsits (whatever they are) have got their eye on them too.

It was sunny here but now a big black cloud is looming. It was freezing when I did my slug walk last night.

Flo that must be so heartbreaking.

Geoff you need a note book to write down your worries then you will sleep like a log, or you could just get up and do the ironing, always makes me sleepy.

Flo-feel sorry for saying this have been picking blueberries for weeks-they are netted though-very tastyimage

Kate -thanks for that-the thought of the ironing should send me offimage-how did they manage in the middle -ages without irons?
