My mother died last year aged 87 and my father died 4 years ago aged 86. Daddy was well before and it was unexpected but Mummy broke her hip and went downhill from then. It was a worry, but I have other brothers and sister in England. I still went over every 2 months or so when she was in a home.
Loved Champion the Wonder Horse when I was little, like the Lone Ranger and Wagon Train too and used to watch Little House on the Prairie with my daughter when she was little. They showed it in France too.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Back from shopping managed to procure a raspberry and white chocolate br??l??e tart, made locally, yum yum. Bacon sandwich first, beef stew for tea. I love Saturdays. Watching Italy play Scotland.
The Virginian? Sorry to resurrect the conversation, just thought on that one.
Back from jaunts now. Didn't make it to GC as it's too wet and miserable so went to Wilkies for my pots. Popped into £land and got a new hibiscus - got a picture of a blue flower on the packaging but guess I'll have to wait and see.
All these tv shows are aging me - I remember all ALL of them.
Glyn - I think Mr Cob is the great cob/grid. Think he's at it again.
Off to pot whilst humming Champion the Wonder Horse.
