OMG, what a sight to come home too! image

Busy day, shops, bank, phonecalls, still to sort out washing/airing. Daughter will be home sometime soon. Ah, like now....

Boiler started again just now, whilst on the phone, & because I ignored it, it shut up- I wish it were that simple. image

OH should be around next Monday so shall suggest that he organises the engineer visit etc for then!

Right off to get washing in & think of something inspirirng for meal..... back later I expect. J.

Bjay, don't even consider a trip back to early Forkland. As you can see from Geoffrey's titbits, you haven't missed anything image  It's a bit like Not the Nine o Clock News or the Now Show in that being topical (sort of) it doesn't come across right when the moment has passed.  I suspect early contributors who are still with us have read all of it !!!

lHad felafels and salad. Waiting for egg-custardy style rice pud to finish baking. Will save half to have cold for breakfast tomorrow.

I made one last night and it was yummy. It will be re-heated tonight served with a nice dollop of strawberry jam.

In this sort of weather I want comfort food - anyone else feel the same?

Well, just finished doing the first one!! And I am so surprised how big it is! I was expecting something that brushed on my head when you was inside, and you had to shuffle to move round. You could live in this thing!! imageimage Well worth my £19.99.

Here's a picture. Ignore my filthy carpet. That is what I'm saving to replace this year, at long last! image
