Good morning, Freezing Forkers---sunny here today and almost 5*C at 9 am. Our schoolkids have been on Spring Break for a week, with another week to go.

I bought an Echium at the last plant sale, but know nothing about them. Put the pot in the greenhouse, and it immediately wilted--so brought it inside and soaked it--it revived. I have put it into a bigger pot--but need advice. Anyone grown these before?

Hi Inka - next door neighbour has nurtured one, keep frost free , absolutely loads of space and sheltered, feed lots and you end up with a great plant that seeds everywhereimage

Just been looking at wedding cake designs. Nephew is getting married and asked me to make cake - it's what i do, make family wedding cakes.

Thought i had better restrict design to what I can do, before some elaborate one is asked for. Have  a feeling that they are all to simple for this bride. have e-mailed them to them and will wait agog (well not really)image

Good break from knitting. I have photos of little things will post later when not in wedding cake modeimage

Hello Everyone, sorry I haven't been in touch. Hope you are all very well despite this grim weather we are having image. Still we are better off that some peeps in Cumbria etc so have a lot to be thankful for.

Is anyone managing to do anything in the garden? I did dig a big area of the veg patch a couple of weeks ago but apart from that have kept indoors as much as possible.
