i heard on news that no speed camera alert ones allowed nd you must have a high visability vest in the car (not boot) for every person in the car and also 2 breathtest machines in your car at all times in France.
oh and yes there is a fine but is being wavered until november.. brother found out to his downfall when over there last week.. lucky they did not fine him.. but told him to go get one straighat away.. or they will fine him.
