Well, in the one week I've been registered I've learnt to:

Turn off my email notifications for the forums, not put my mouse cursor anywhere near THAT blue unfolding advert, how to build raised beds, that David K can teach me all about sweet peas, that the sun follows Geoff around and to be patient with my tomato plants!! And now, all about St Swithins Day! Riveting stuff! image

......and that I'm Lord Lichfield & I live at Shugborough Hall! image

I have just seen the size of those perennials-they will fit in nicely in Lilliput's minature village's garden

Watched Beechgrove -last night sweet peas were one of the few things they were having success with-french beans, runner beans, courgettes all useless and yellow plants

Visited RHS Harlow Carr today, too wet to garden at home. Can't make up my mind what I like best - prairie planting, roses, veg garden, candelabra primulas, wild flowers ...... Yes, I can, the alpine house ..... And oh yes, tea and cakes at Betty's! If I knew how to add a smiley face I would

Hi all--did a sun dance for you-let me know if it works. Huge thunder and lightning storm here overnight. Quite unusual for this part of the world, but managed to sleep through much of it.
