Uh oh, daughter chopping amaryllis- I'm keeping out of this. My usual method of dealing with them well & truely dismissed by the board. Well am willing to accept the advice, but I did keep one going for at least 2-3yrs until a wasp, of some sort, decided to lay its eggs in the bulb when it was 'resting' in the greenhouse. Frightened the life out of me when eggs hatched whilst on daughter's sill. Dumped it pronto.J.
