what is this?

 O.k. last year I had wildflowers in this spot, It was cut back and left.

This plant grew and even flowered over winter (only a few flowers) but now it's full of flowers is it a wildflower? 

The flowers are about 2in across.

Any ideas what it is and will it grow easy from seed.

    I agree with Maggienewgardener - Calendula officinalis - the seedheads are a clear giveaway image
