Salix flamingo

I have an 8 year old salix flamingo which has usually bloomed really well.  This year it has no growth at all,  just left with a reddish colour twigs.  What's wrong?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

    Thanks for your tip, it did get waterlogged. Just hope it starts to grow soon.
