My old apple tree is poorly

I hope someone can help me.  My apple tree was fine last weekend, not been out for a few days and today it looks like this.......

The brown leaves aren't crisp, they feel soggy, almost as if they have rotted. From what I can see none of the fruit has come off and there is none on the floor.  I also can't see any insects apart from bees........can anyone help me?

I've also noticed it to a lesser extent in the plum tree but that seems to be getting a lot of new leaves so not as concerned.

Looks like fire blight to me, unfortunately:

Oh no, it does image I don't think there is a lot I can do apart from cut off all the infected areas and watch for it spreading?  Will I lose all my fruit, at the moment there are still a lot of apples on it, but does it affect whether they can be eaten or not?

Gutted imageimage I hope I don't lose my tree.
