THANK YOU And Happy Gardening today...
Hi Wanna be, that's Euphorbia lathyris, one of the finest specimens I've seen
Wacht the white sap that comes off if you cut it, it burns for want of a better word. and if you don't want a forest of them don't let it seed.
It's a biennial
A very healthy looking euphorbia. I'm just starting to see their merits and will try more varieties. Do wear gloves when working with them as nutcutlet says.
What is the feathery leaved plant on the right? It looks familiar but....
The feathery things look like escholtzia- californian poppy
Thanks fidget I should have known as they pop up all round the garden and are always welcome.
Thank you All. I will let my Dad know as this is growing in his garden/Allotment.
Have lovely day
Wow! What a beautiful shape and so healthy looking. Envious of that.
Lovely isn't it
Mine are always tall and gawky and fall over when the wind cuts across the fen
That's a bit of a prize specimen of a weed. Have you been feeding it?
