    Hi Wanna be, that's Euphorbia lathyris, one of the finest specimens I've seenimage

    Wacht the white sap  that comes off if you cut it, it burns for want of a better word. and if you don't want a forest of them don't let it seed.

    It's a biennial

    A very healthy looking euphorbia.  I'm just starting to see their merits and will try more varieties. Do wear gloves when working with them as nutcutlet says.

    What is the feathery leaved plant on the right?  It looks familiar but....image

    The feathery things look like escholtzia- californian poppy

    That's a bit of a prize specimen of a weed. Have  you been feeding it?
