Brown tips on sweet pea leaves

My sweet peas that are growing in a pot with some trailing lobelia are showing brown soft tips on the leaves that are yet to unfurl at the tops of the plants. Any ideas on what might be the cause?

It may rain then sun on the leaves ,sweet peas do take a time to unfurl until they start going ,sunshine needed.
