Dog Freindly Slug Pellets that actually work ?
Agggggh I am pulling my hair out , Yet again I picked up a selection of plants from my garden centre and overnight they have been decimated my snails and slugs. I checked last night and pulled/killed a dozen or more on each pot yet clearly there were more to follow once id gone to bed.
Ive tried various so called "alternative" pellets none of which seem to work.
Totally soul destroying - I love my new dog but since getting him my garden has suffered badly having had to stop using regular slug deterrents.
Any advice as to effective pet friendly pellets or options would be greatly appreciated !!!

I think there is no one solution to slugs and snails and with pets it is difficult. I result to using all methods and following Ford Abbey example of clearing any gardening waste away and checking plants and bushes for snails with a bucket for collection (dispose as one feels) and spraying with garlic .The trouble is snails and slugs can hide well and breed at a fantastic rate,if you spot when digging little white eggs, feed to the fish straight away.
