Snapped stem

Hi there,
I bought a lovely tall marguerite daisy, with abundance of flowers, I did attached to a splint to steady it, but sadly it has snapped, I have kept the head, is there any way I can save this plant and grow new roots, would be very grateful for all advice.

Flowering stems aren't the best for rooting. Head off and some leaves on would stand more cjhance
