Help with Weed/plant identifcation

Hi, I have a green tall plant that has appeared in two locations in my borders.  I believe it has probably come from bird droppings.   They stand about 2 feet tall on a single thick stem with green leaves alternating up the stem in a spiral pattern. A light coloured stripe appears in the crease of each leaf.  At the top it has branched out into about six stems each with a funny shaped green leaves with a yellow area in the centre.  these look like its flowers.  Should I dig them up and destroy or do they have a name that I should continue to let grow.

Google for "caper spurge" and see if it looks like that.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Could be a euphorbia, can you post a photo. Just click on the tree icon at the top of the posting box, then follow instructions.

  • Just looked up caper spurge.  Thanks it looks just like that. I think I'll pull it up as I see it can be quite an irritant.  Thankyou.
