French beans

I'm thinking of growing my French climbing beans in large pots this year, what do you think? I usually grow them in raised beds, however this year due to a change around and rebuilding part of the garden it has to be pots.

    Pansyface will you keep them growing that way or intend planting them out?

    Hi Greg, this is the first time I've grown French beans and I am growing the dwarf variety.  I am growing mine in the plastic planters you can get, well I will be doing, at the moment they are still in the GH. In small pots.  I'm hoping they will make quite a nice feature in the garden along with my Tumbling Tom tomatoes image

    Hi Greg. We grow french climbing beans every year in large plastic tubs, supported by sh tree branches/bamboo sticks. We have always had a brilliant crop. We put ours outside last weekend, and they're doing really well. I think plasticplanters are under estimated. image
