Chilli plants

kslovkslov Posts: 1

I've been growing about 10 chilli plants in an indoor greenhouse. they're all about 12" tall if not taller but no flowers yet. when should they flower? Bit worried they're about to burst out of the greenhouse!

thanks all

I depends on what kind they are

Chillies demand patience. Slow to germinate, slow to develop. Mine are about the same height and are only just showing the first glimpse of flower development.

I've just pinched the flowers off mine as I read somewhere else that you should let them get bushy before allowing them to flower.

I've two plants that are well over 12 inches in height and are close to flowering. The rest of my chilli plants however are less than 4 inches in height and seem to show no sign of getting any bigger! image
