Another problem, this time with a Euphorbia. It's just got too big and bullying a couple of my smaller plants. If I cut it all back to about 6inches will it die or just keep going?

Euphorbia needs splitting to keep it in check, best done in autumn, and watch out for the sap it's an irritant. Cutting it back will only encourage more growth, so I'd wait till autumn and do it then.
