Unknown shrub / weed

Hi everyone. Ive just taken an interest in making my small garden look better and need to identify this plant please.

Its grown to about 6ftx6ft in 2 years (as i had already chopped it down to put a fence up) Any help is veryuch appreciated. Thanks.

    Looks like leycesteria formosa I think, Dove will know.

    Depends on whether you like it or not. Its a good space filler.

    I dont mind it. It gives good coverage. I maybe just need to prune it to get better flowers next year.

    Ive never usually bothered with gardening but with this glorious sun i thought it was time to make my small border a bit tidier.
