Is this a ladybird?

Hi, Can anybody advise on a beetle I've just noticed on my lavender? It's the same shape as a ladybird bit it's bronze. On each wing case it has three or four pale orange stripes from head to tail which you have to get up close to see. Squish it or foster it?

Possibly rosemary beetle, needs squishing.
