matthiola incana

received my matthiola incana seeds but with little/confusing planting info, can i sow direct now? or wait til autumn and keep in house then move to greenhouse then harden off?

    I'd sow now, don't think they need to be indoors - maybe cool greenhouse to start but they're hardy so move them outside asap.

    Thanks dove, is greenhouse ok open? I just have a 3 tier zip up one, unfortunately it's east facing but nowhere else it can go, garden so small

    Mine survived been in a mini unheated greenhouse from April so the should be fine. would leave it open as will get like a furnace in there this time of year
