We have just noticed a multitude of brown beetles (box beetles???) on our raspberry bushes, mostly in pairs. I just wondered if these are harmful - any ideas?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
If they are 2mm long they are Raspberry Beetles and you will have to spray. If the Flowers are open you can't spray then. Because it will kill the bees.
