Last year i bought a fantastic hellebore, got it all the way home intact, then it fell out of the back of the car when I opened the door.image

Two days ago I over balanced and tipped over 3 trays of seedlings, some that had not yet germinated and a tray of mixed leaves for my chickens... Sometimes you can't do right for doing wrong can you?image

Stick  the head in a vase of water. I did this last week, it will still open. When it's fully open you can let the water dry up and you will have a nice seed head.

Next year beware of feet belonging to OH and footballs belonging to small people (or OH!). Speaking from experience!
