Hi title says it all, can I take the blade off my mower and and give it a go on the whet stone to sharpen it and bring back the edge?

The mower is only a year old and so is still in good condition, I was just thinking of a little maintenance.

    If it's a rotary or flymo maybe, if it's a cylinder best take it to someone that has the appropriate grinder for the job.

    Hi sorry for the late reply, thanks I will give it a go more of a maintenance thing so I don't have to get the grinder out which knowing me will do more damage than good.
