Hey Autumn dh, although you're not in Oregon (this year), maybe some of your family / friends have excess equisetum / horsetail... Like you, I have deep roots in the wet side of Oregon, but my land on the high desert side lacks a good puddley place for growing equisetum.
I'd appreciate hearing from you - or anyone in Oregon - with excess horsetail (equisetum spp.) that has not been herbicided. I'm interested in bulk quantities of fresh and older top growth for experiments in soil regeneration. Thanks!
