    Met UK husband while living in Japan. Married, fell pregnant, earthquake, tsunami, Fukushima, came to live here in a bit of a rush. Not able to find a job in the US whilst pregnant to support him as he would be unable to work without a green card. So, Manchester it is...for now.

  • Hey Autumn dh, although you're not in Oregon (this year), maybe some of your family / friends have excess equisetum / horsetail...  Like you, I have deep roots in the wet side of Oregon, but my land on the high desert side lacks a good puddley place for growing equisetum.  

    I'd appreciate hearing from you - or anyone in Oregon - with excess horsetail (equisetum spp.) that has not been herbicided.  I'm interested in bulk quantities of fresh and older top growth for experiments in soil regeneration.  Thanks!
