Help my wineberry

Does anyone know why my wineberry is deteriorating?   It's planted in well draining soil, in sun and I've watered, fed and mulched it.  It's the first time I've tried wine berries.  it was thriving and shooting but the new leaves are now shrivelling and going brown.  I know theryre not common in the Uk but anyone an expert with wineberries?

I am glad to say my wineberry seems to have recovered after careful tending.  I am a first-time wineberry grower and, as we/i seem to be a rather exclusive group on the forum, I will let you all know how I get on.  I am not expecting any fruit until next year.
