Climber grown from pot?

Hi - I'm looking to plant a climber to grow up the front of our house but there isn't any soil-bed, just concrete foundation with paving stones on top. Can anyone suggest a climber that could grow well in a pot or raised bed and give decent cover?

How big an area of wall are you hoping to cover? Which way does the house face and is it windy or sheltered?
Beware of making a raised bed by a house-wall - it might compromise the damp course.
