Sunpatiens
in Talkback
Have Sunpatiens arrived in England yet? I bought some for the first time last year and find them absolutely marvellous flowering plants. They will go on for six months or more and are real show-stoppers for colour, although they do need a lot of water. In case you're wondering, it is a sterile ( ie non-seed producing) back-cross of the Brazilian Impatiens walleriana (Busy-Lizzie) and the New Guinea Impatiens hawkeri. There are also some very attractive ones with variegated foliage.
Everyone likes butterflies. Nobody likes caterpillars.
