I have an infestation on these small flies in the garden that are black with orange thorax and lower body and i have no idea what they are and there wings are clear with a black strip accross them .... Help

    Are they attacking you or are they just flying around minding their own business?

    They seems to be wanting to get into my cold frame which has a variety of crops in it in pots ready for my allotment. There not bees or wasps i know that much
