There have been a lot of topics on fungi in the last few weeks-it is just the time of year and they go as quickly as they appear-you can pick them off and bin them if it is a concern.

The fungi shown in those threads are all different. There are 100s of different species. Almost all are beneficial to other plants. None of them should be eaten. The only one that is dangerous to other plants is honey fungus. That's explained in those links.
